You may know that for just over a year I’ve been working as an artist, researcher and heritage officer with a group of residents and volunteers in Rockingham village on the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire border. During this time we’ve been devising and delivering projects exploring the history of Rockingham (850years+) and local heritage.

In September at the annual flower show (est.1851), the history group and I launched a village trail, intended for self-guided heritage walks around Rockingham. We’ve now created a blog, which will feature more information about village history and the people who have lived there such as old photographs, research and find-out-more pages. This will be uploaded once we’ve ironed out ownership rights with partners such as Rockingham Castle and the Northamptonshire Records Office.

If you would like a complimentary copy of the Rockingham Village Trail please contact me.
